![]() ![]() ![]() I'll definitely be back to try their chicken sandwiches, Millionaire Mac n Cheese and their loaded fries during my next visit! I felt pretty safe ordering here as they took the COVID-19 safety precautions seriously. Upon arriving, my order was ready and packed to go. You'll even get a text when your food is ready (took about 20 minutes for me) which is nice if you don't want to spend time waiting in the car. Online ordering was very straightforward, easy and hassle free. I HIGHLY recommend ordering in advance on their website. Since they are a food truck, definitely double check their social media to make sure they will be at your desired location. Turns out it's because they are a food truck, so they don't have a physical location yet! I was elated when I found out that my WFH schedule enabled me to visit their Cypress location on Thursdays. You mean I don't have to travel all the way to LA for some good HALAL Nashville Hot Fried Chicken? Count me in! I stumbled upon this place on YELP and wondered why I had not heard of this place before. Follow Bred's on Instagram or their website to see their weekly schedule. If we go back, I'd want to try their sandwich and pass on the dessert. I didn't enjoy the banana pudding which was really thick and not as fluffy as I would have liked. The sweet tea was a bit sweet but refreshing with the chicken. The waffles weren't as crispy as I would have liked but they were definitely buttered. The chicken was juicy! You could tell that it was brined prior to cooking. Mine was just fine with the Spicy tenders I received. My bf thought there was kind of a one note to the spice so it might have blown his palette. Luckily, they were parked near a local strip mall so we were able to go eat at tables nearby. They did not have wings at the time but tenders will do. We ordered the Chick N Waffles SPICY ($14), 4 pc juicy tenders MEDIUM ($13), 2 Sugar Honey Iced Teas ($5 ea), and a banana pudding ($5). ![]() Overall, I was honestly surprised at how good this place was.If you know me, you know that I'm a lover of spicy food, especially Nashville Hot chicken! So when I saw that Bred's Nashville Hot Chicken was in Irvine, I decided to haul myself and my bf over there. I can't hype this up anymore lol just order it! True comfort food. The blend of the 4 cheeses was honestly perfection. In complete seriousness, I ordered the Mac n cheese $5 and was definitely the best Mac n cheese I have had in at least the past 6 months. The chicken was cooked to perfection, not overly greasy and perfectly crispy. As the order says they truly are slider sizes, not legit chicken sandwich sizes so you may want to throw in some tenders. We ordered the slider chicks for $13 and added fries for an additional $3. I got "mild" and it had a nice kick to it but my hunny got "spicy" and I saw a bit of eye watering going on in his eyes, lol. Compared to hotties and Dave this place packs the heat so don't take it lightly. Okay, I love my Nashville chicken, but they don't play with the spice level. Once you order they update order status via text which is appreciated! They also are great at updating social media: insta and yelp with the food truck location. I am glad we did this because the pickup was quick and seamless. Well, they happened to be right up the street from my complex and I am so glad we pulled up! On the website they encourage you to order ahead and pick up at the food truck location. Okay, I saw an ad for this food truck a couple months ago but never seemed to make the time to visit.
